Fill-Your-Own Advent Calendars — Felt and Puzzle
A shop-bought Advent calendar gets thrown out on the 25th, and somebody else chose what was inside. A fill-your-own calendar comes back every year, and what goes in it comes from you: a note, a small piece, a planned outing.
A fill-your-own calendar arrives empty, that is the point: plan twenty-four small items, flat and light if the pockets are sewn flat. Hang it out of reach of a child under three — calendar-sized pieces do not suit a house where everything goes in the mouth.
