What fixes it fastest

Three answers to three precise situations, not a sales ranking.

What an elastic does better than iron

Iron opposes the same load from the start of a movement to its end. An elastic opposes a resistance that rises as it stretches: the hardest part lands at the end of the range, where the joint is most stable.

That makes elastics good for the upper body and for rehab, and poor for maximal strength. It does not replace a loaded barbell — it delivers training volume with no heavy kit and no gym.

Something to pull against, and something to see the set through.

  • Fabric resistance bands — three levels, and they stay put
  • Posture corrector — it reminds, it does not straighten

Resistance bands or dumbbells: what each one actually does

One gives the same load from start to finish, the other a resistance that rises as it stretches. This is not about budget: they do not train the same point of the movement.

Posture correctors and EMS belts: what they do and what they do not

These are the two items people promise the most about. One reminds without strengthening, the other contracts without burning fat — and both are useful provided you know exactly what for.
